I ordered some yarn and just went with the delivery option they showed, thinking it would get here in a normal amount of time, but nope, it ended up taking way longer than I expected. The tracking was barely moving, which made it more annoying because I kept checking and there was basically no real update. If you’re ordering because you actually need your stuff by a certain date, I wouldn’t count on it. It’s just not very reliable

I was really hoping to like this yarn, but it just didn’t feel nice to work with 😕 It came across as cheap and kind of scratchy, so I probably wouldn’t buy it again

I’ve ordered from Laughing Hens a couple of times now, the prices have been good. A few of the yarns I bought were cheaper than what I saw in local shops, and they had a nice enough selection that I ended up browsing longer than I planned.
One delivery did take longer than I expected, which was a bit annoying at the time, I was nearly ready to swear them off. But then the yarn arrived, it was lovely, and the price made me calm down quickly. I’d probably give 5 stars if shipping was more consistent, but overall I’m happy and would order again.

The order itself was fine, no real issues there (which was a relief). But trying to get help was frustrating. I emailed customer service and had to wait a few days before getting a proper response. When they finally replied, it felt rushed and didn’t really answer my question. It wasn’t a terrible experience overall, but I definitely expected a quicker and more helpful response

I tried ordering some yarn from Laughing Hens, but the whole website experience was frustrating. My basket kept randomly changing the quantities, and then the checkout froze on me twice, so I had to keep starting over.
It eventually seemed to go through, but I never got a proper confirmation email, and that part was weird. Now I’m not even totally sure if my order is sorted or not, which is really annoying.

I used to browse Laughing Hens whenever I needed yarn for a project, but lately it feels like the selection has really dropped off. A lot of the colours I was looking for weren’t available, and with some brands it seemed like there were only odd leftovers in stock.

It’s frustrating when you’ve got a project in mind and nearly everything you need is marked out of stock. In the end, I gave up and ordered from another shop. Personally, I wouldn’t rely on them now unless I was just casually browsing with no specific plan.
